Democrats are currently in control of the State Senate and Republicans in the House in Michigan. This presents new opportunities to shape public policy, with a large number of new legislators both bringing new ideas to Lansing and navigating how to get things done. Given this environment, there is perhaps no better time to engage in advocacy in Lansing.
