ADVOCACY

Advocacy is at the core of Michigan Cinema United's work. Engaging with elected officials has the power to drive meaningful change for movie exhibition and the movie-going experience by:

  • Providing access to and influencing decision makers within state government

  • Helping shape public policy and legislation

  • Educating others about issues that could negatively impact or advance the industry

Michigan Cinema United's lobbyist, Karoub Associates monitors all relevant legislation, keeps members apprised of happenings, and issues call to action when advocacy is needed. You can be assured as critical discussions are taking place in Lansing, Michigan Cinema United is at the table.
