HISTORY

Michigan Cinema United is the only trade association exclusively representing movie theater operators in Michigan. We formed as a non-profit organization in 1996, after a group of theater owners working with Karoub Associates successfully advocated for changing the Michigan Single Business Tax Law. Since then, Michigan Cinema United has continued to advance and protect the motion picture industry on behalf of exhibitors and movie-goers across the state.
