GET INVOLVED

Your voice is needed to protect and advance movie theatre exhibition in Michigan. As state legislators deliberate on laws and policies, they rely on the expertise and insights of others to effectively represent the people of their district. Michigan Cinema United members are experts on the state’s motion picture industry.

 

There are several effective ways to engage with your state legislators:

 

• Schedule a meeting in your legislator’s district or Lansing office
   

• Attend the Michigan Cinema United Annual Meeting & Legislative Reception, September 10th–registration is closed!
   

• Share your input by calling and emailing your legislators when asked to do so by Michigan Cinema United
   

• Write an opinion piece for publication in your local paper—elected officials and their staff read letters to the editor and opinion editorials to get the pulse of their constituents
