2024 NATO of Michigan Scholarship Awardee

Noel Tippit is currently a cast member at MJR Brighton Cinema. A 2023 high school graduate, Noel chose to take a gap year after graduation to focus on saving for college and obtaining a driver’s license. Feeling more prepared, Noel began attending Washtenaw Community College in August 2024.

Now having completed two semesters, Noel is studying elementary education and is passionate about becoming an ESL teacher in an elementary school. While the journey has had its ups and downs, Noel has embraced every moment of learning and personal growth. The experiences and interactions at MJR have played an important role in helping Noel develop the patience, understanding, and kindness needed to thrive in the classroom. Noel enjoys working at MJR and looks forward to continuing to gain real-life experience that will help shape a successful future as an educator.
